The Community Foundation Difference
Your donations benefit your community forever. All donations are pooled into endowment funds and invested. The income generated from these investments forms grants that benefit registered charities in the community. Your donation is never spent - it will remain to help hundreds of charities and potentially millions of people in the years to come.

Flexible, Affordable Giving Options
You may make a donation through an outright gift of cash, a gift of life insurance, stocks, bonds, or other assets. It can be during your lifetime or left to the Foundation in a bequest. Donations may be pledged over a period. You can decide what fund you want to contribute to, or leave it up to the staff at the Foundation to determine where there is most need. You might even want to start your own fund!

Tax Benefits
In addition to supporting your community, your donation is also tax-deductible. You will receive an official Community Foundation donation receipt with all the information necessary for your records and for income tax purposes.
